Why DayQuil/NyQuil SEVERE with Vicks VapoCOOL?

DayQuil/NyQuil SEVERE with Vicks VapoCOOL is an over-the-counter medication that treats daytime and nighttime symptoms of the cold and flu, including nasal congestion, cough, headache, minor aches and pains, fever, and sore throat.

Treating the common cold and flu

Most people will recover from the common cold and/or the flu on their own. To feel better, it’s important to drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. In the meantime, over-the-counter medications can help ease your symptoms. Although Vicks products cannot cure a cold/flu, they can help you feel better.

How can I treat a sore throat?

A sore throat can be treated with analgesics (painkillers) found in over-the-counter medications. DayQuil/NyQuil SEVERE with Vicks VapoCOOL contains acetaminophen, a pain reliever/fever reducer that can help soothe your sore throat. Although DayQuil/NyQuil SEVERE with Vicks VapoCOOL does not cure a sore throat, it can help you feel better.
